A paper moon hangs in the dark, and as you move, this MotionWork shifts with it — revealing a playful interplay of light, fantasy, and childhood wonder. What begins as a single image becomes a living visual experience, the moon breathing and turning as if it always has.

Brought to life through MotionWorks Art process and produced with exceptional clarity, each piece offers a sense of depth and whimsy that feels both nostalgic and surprisingly alive.

Finished in a sleek, gallery-quality frame, it brings a modern, sculptural presence to the space around it.

From the Artist

As kids, we believe everything is alive. I've always imagined the moon as a stage in the dark — a small circus drifting through space. Made of paper, distant but somehow still within reach. This MotionWorks Art piece brings that childhood vision to life, the moon shifting and breathing as you move past it, just like you always knew it could.

Description

Growing up in Seattle, I spent a lot of time watching raindrops in the forest — bouncing, dancing, putting on a show just for me. This piece captures that childhood wonder. Water droplets rise from a bed of moss, twisting into figures mid-air, alive with motion. As a MotionWorks Art piece, they move the way I always imagined they did.
